Project Overview
Winner of the 2017 Toronto Urban Design Award of Excellence in Mid-Rise Category, the building at 383 Sorauren Avenue in the city’s Roncesvalles neighbourhood features a modern twist on the early 1900s industrial design motif of the surrounding area.
The design elements of this residential development are reminiscent of the area’s industrial past, featuring warehouse-style red brick and solid massing of the building. The distinct detailing of the building ties-in to the texture and warmth of the bricks with the reflective windows framed in black mullions. Spanning 10-storeys, the building features 3 levels of below-grade parking, lobby access from both sides of the building, 2-storey penthouses with rooftop terraces, and 2-storey townhouses incorporated into the ground floor units. Amenities include gym, bike storage, party room, meeting room, and rooftop deck. Streetscaping and landscaping provide a buffer around the building.
