Project Overview
Named in honour of Toronto’s 100th library, Library District condominium is located at 170 Fort York Blvd. and overlooks the new Mouth of the Creek Park. The building’s unique architecture was inspired by the adjacent Fort York, while the coloured glass references the abundant surrounding green space. Occupying a part of Toronto’s popular “CityPlace”, the development embraces the modern urban lifestyle. Comprised of both social housing and market rate housing, Library District features 2 floors of below-grade parking, courtyard with access to ground floor suites, library lobby, cardio workout rooms, rooftop deck, bike storage, and multi-use rooms for media and parties.
Existing stonework found on the site was used to create feature cladding on parts of the new building and can be seen from the Bathurst Street Bridge at Parking Level 1.
