River City 2 is part of a four-phase development located in Toronto’s Corktown neighbourhood. Originally an abandoned industrial area, the River City community was the first development to kickstart the revitalization of the West Don Lands. Urban Capital, partnered with Montreal-based Saucier + Perrotte Architects, conceived the development of the new community as part of a design competition. The River City community has been the recipient of multiple awards, including an OAA Lieutenant Governor’s Award for Excellence and the Toronto Urban Design Award of Merit. All buildings are LEED Gold certified.

River City 2 is comprised of three 12-storey mini towers connected by enclosed glass bridges. Featuring 250 units and 2 levels of above-grade parking, the condominium also includes amenities such as fitness area, screening lounge, billiards room, heated outdoor lap pool, and a shared courtyard with River City 1. Surrounding half of River City 1 and 2, a cobblestoned and landscaped city-built woonerf accommodates pedestrians, bicycles, and cars.
